Even if your devices are set to a different IP range than your computer, the discovery tool can still locate them on your network. Here is a simple, step-by-step guide to discovering your devices and managing their network settings.
Step 1: Download Advatek Assistant 3
To begin, you will need the latest version of the configuration software:
Search Google for "Advatek Assistant 3 download".
Navigate to the Resources > Downloads > Software section of the official Advatek Lighting website.
Download and install the latest version, as updates are released frequently to ensure compatibility.
Step 2: Discover Devices on Your Network
Open the software. As long as your Mark III devices are physically connected to the same network as your computer, they will automatically appear in the list.
IP Range: Devices will appear even if they are currently configured for a different IP range than your PC.
Firmware: The software will display the current firmware version for each discovered device.
