Interactive Lighting & Gamification

We create interactive lighting systems that respond to people, movement, or touch, perfect for gamified spaces and engaging environments.

Designed for engagement

At envisio, we love bringing spaces to life with lighting that encourages interaction. From subtle sensor-based effects to fully gamified experiences, we design systems that do more than just look good.

Our interactive exhibitions blend art and technology. From light festival displays to pixel walkways and tunnels, we create spaces that respond to sound, movement, and even touch, allowing visitors to become an integral part of the exhibit.

Creative Tech, Expertly Delivered

We use a wide range of sensors, impact, vibration, motion, touch and custom-build control systems using platforms like TouchDesigner and DMX/Art-Net. This lets us create everything from light-reactive ping pong tables to glowing bowling alleys and tunnels that respond to movement.

Every project is tailored to the space, theme, and audience. Whether it’s a simple touch wall or a full gamified setup like our Bike Race game for Center Parcs, we design for maximum engagement.

With deep expertise in pixel mapping, sensors, and lighting control, our systems are as reliable as they are impressive, built to perform and built to last.

Games in Action

We’ve had the chance to build some really fun systems over the years. One of our favourites is the pedal-powered race game we created for Centre Parcs. Each site has three bikes and a hand crank, all lined up with glowing LED tracks across the floor. When someone starts pedalling or turning the crank, the lights wake up with a traffic light countdown and the race begins. The first to reach the end of their track triggers a quick celebration sequence before everything resets for the next round.

We’ve also built freestanding interactive drums that light up on impact and pulse with every hit, as well as oversized LED beach balls for festivals that change colour every time they are hit, as they’re passed around a crowd. Each one built for a specific space, with the interaction at the centre of it all.

Planning Something Interactive?

Whether you’re putting together an exhibition, festival piece, or a one-off idea, we’ll help you build something that sticks in people’s minds. We take time to understand what the space is for and how people will move through it, then design something that responds in a way that makes sense, whether that’s through sound, touch, movement, or something a bit unexpected.

If you’ve got a wild idea or want something unique with a layer of interactivity that feels natural and engaging, we’d love to hear from you.
