Custom kits, ready to go
Wavelength AV came to us with a brief for reactive lighting for 2 fitness studios at a health club and spa. They were exploring the best way to achieve it. The focus was on vertical LED profiles to match their stretch fabric system, enhancing both the HIIT and Spin studios. The goal was to energise workouts and create lighting that responds to music and movement.
We supplied two tailored LED kits, each one cut to precise lengths, pre-soldered, pre-addressed, and programmed before delivery. This plug-and-play approach meant Wavelength could get straight to installation, with no on-site configuration. Each kit included LED tape, controllers, and our 3-sided aluminium profile with diffuser. Since chasing into newly plastered walls wasn’t an option, the surface-mounted profile offered a clean, practical solution. We labelled and packaged each section clearly, ensuring the system arrived ready to install and integrate.
Flexible, music-reactive control
The system runs on MADRIX Entry, a powerful yet user-friendly platform for real-time control and responsive visual effects. It’s ideal for fitness environments where reactive lighting must match the pace and mood of each session. Control is via an Advatek E4-S, a reliable pixel controller known for smooth playback and simple integration. Together, the system adapts easily to playlists, class types, or time of day, while maintaining consistent performance.
Full support from start to finish
From initial contact to handover, we provided detailed technical guidance to ensure everything ran smoothly for Wavelength AV. They handled installation, and we worked closely to confirm the layout matched the programmed system.
Remote commissioning with on-site backup
After installation, we remotely commissioned the setup to fine-tune performance and visuals. In this case, we also sent an engineer to site, to assist with fault-finding and double-check every element was ready for use.
The result
The final installation looks sharp and works exactly as intended, bringing reactive, vertical light effects to both studios.
