2-Channel Art-Net node – 5-pin XLR
The Showtec NET-2/5 Pocket Node is a compact, reliable Art-Net and sACN to DMX converter that we’ve used in a variety of installations where space is tight and clean routing matters. This node handles up to 1024 DMX channels over a single CAT5 cable, making it ideal for large pixel setups or distributed DMX systems across architectural or entertainment projects.
It supports POE (Power over Ethernet), so there’s no need for a separate power supply, helpful when keeping control cabinets or truss runs tidy. In our experience, that’s been especially useful when the node is tucked away or when sockets are already maxed out.
Setup is straightforward. You can configure everything using the graphic display and buttons on the front panel, or log in remotely through a browser on your network. The web interface is simple and functional, handy if you need to make adjustments during commissioning without digging through menus. (Default login: Admin / Admin.)
