Bringing The Pixel System Online, Fast
Gravity Max is an immersive entertainment venue. It features AR bowling, VR arenas, E-Karting, and motion-based attractions. These zones rely on precise pixel and DMX control systems to create powerful, interactive light displays that enhance the guest experience.
With only 72 hours before the scheduled soft opening of their Westfield location, the lighting and control system was not functional. We were called in to provide emergency commissioning, programming, and fault-finding services. The existing installation required urgent technical support to get everything show-ready.

Fault-Finding and System Recovery
Our first step was to inspect the installation’s wiring and data paths. We identified missing cables and improper addressing. We advised the client on correcting these faults, enabling stable data flow across the venue.
MADRIX Pixel Programming
We configured and programmed the pixel system using MADRIX software. This allowed for vibrant, reactive effects tailored to the unique layout and attractions within Gravity Max.
Advatek Controller Commissioning
We commissioned multiple Advatek pixel controllers to ensure smooth data distribution over extensive runs. Each device was addressed and calibrated to maintain system integrity.
Visual Productions Hardware Setup
CueCore2, CueCore3, and B-Station units were installed and configured. These devices manage show control, triggering lighting cues and synchronising multiple systems efficiently.
DMX Rig Programming
All DMX lighting rigs were addressed and programmed to integrate with the wider custom lighting installation. We tested each fixture, created scenes, and ensured reliable operation during the venue’s events.
Show PC and Remote Management
The venue’s show PC was configured with all necessary control software. We installed remote access tools to support ongoing monitoring and adjustments post-launch.

Delivering Under Pressure
This project demanded rapid problem-solving and seamless coordination. From fault-finding to final programming, we delivered a fully commissioned pixel and DMX control system and the system was ready for the venue’s opening without compromise.
After completing the on-site commissioning, we continued supporting Gravity Max remotely. This ongoing remote programming allowed us to fine-tune pixel effects, adjust DMX scenes, and troubleshoot any issues without needing to be on site. Remote management tools gave the client flexibility and ensured the system operated flawlessly during daily use and special events. This approach maximises uptime and keeps the venue’s immersive experiences running smoothly.
Our expertise spans pixel control, DMX, Art-Net, sACN, DALI, and architectural control systems. Whether it’s a last-minute rescue or a planned installation, we make complex lighting and control setups work flawlessly.
